Once again, Gresford’s quilting, patchwork and craft exhibition was held in the church, together with a satellite part of the exhibition in Gresford’s Memorial Hall.
It was a busy week in church and the organisers did a wonderful job of setting out the displays and producing an informative catalogue which highlighted each person’s work. Attached is just a small section of the work on show. It was a fabulous exhibition of people’s time and talents and all the exhibitors are to be congratulated for their efforts. There was a small display of craftwork from our church primary school together with examples from groups of knitters, crochet-lovers’ items and various other examples of textile crafts.
This is always a well attended exhibition and together with a plant sale and refreshments, all volunteers are kept busy. Proceeds are for nominated charities.
